The Fwee Pudding Pot is a Matte Blurring Balm for the lip and cheeks. It went viral for it's adorable form of packaging, unique application, and texture. I’ve reviewed the product and included affordable alternatives for those who might be hesitant to commit to the purchase.

Fwee is a korean makeup brand selling on numerous websites, including Amazon and asian beauty retailers like Olive Young.

On Amazon, I purchased the Fwee Pudding Pot in the shade Like, as I was drawn to its light, cool-toned, pink color. Below is the comparison between the advertised image and the product I received.

Reality (Pictures taken with flash):

As you can see, the makeup substance is much brighter and saturated pink than in the promotional images. However, once applied, the color closely matches the advertised tone.

The Fwee pudding pot is often paired with it's complementary applicator, the Fwee Fingerlike Silicone Lip Brush, but I chose not to purchase it.

Performance:

I found the Pudding Pot works better as a blush than a lip product. On drier lips, the matte formula can emphasize cracked texture and settle unevenly.

Overall review:

  • Coverage/Pigment: 8.5/10

  • Wear Duration: 7.5/10 (I typically wear light layers of blush for a natural look and it lasts around 4-5 hours without setting spray/powder)

  • Shade Range: 10/10 (30 shades available)

  • Texture: 9/10 (Squishy, soft, and lightweight)

I purchased it on Amazon on sale for 13.99, but it's original price is 16.00. Although I'm satisfied with the product, I don't think it's worth purchasing over 14 dollars, as there are many cheaper alternatives.

Cheaper Alternatives:

  • Into you - Canned Lip & Cheek Mud

Available on Yami, Yesstyle, INTO YOU etc.

  • Wakemake (over blurring pot)

Available on Yami, Yesstyle, Olive Young etc.

  • Dasique (souffle color pot)

Available on Yami, Yesstyle, etc.

  • Aou (fluffy matte balm)

Available on Amazon, Yami etc.

  • Holika holika (melting blur lip pot).

Available on Olive Young, Yami etc.
